AVOIMET OVET IS AN ENTREPRENEURIAL GROWTH AND RECRUITMENT EVENT
The Avoimet ovet (“Open doors”) event is held in early September at Ruukki Business Park.
On Open doors day, some of the businesses at Ruukki Business Park open their doors and present their operations. Children in the 9th grade at the Ruukin koulu and Gumeruksen koulu schools, plus students in their first year at the Ruukin Luonto- ja hevoskeskus nature and equestrian centre are invited to the event.
On the day of the event, around 100 young people visit Ruukki Business Park to learn about the world of business!
Some of the businesses that operate at Ruukki Business Park participate in the event. In addition to Ruukin Yrityspuisto, other actors participating at their own sites are: Raahe Region Development, Nouseva Rannikkoseutu (Norsu/Youth Leader), and Siikajoen Työllisyyspalvelut.
PARTICIPATING IN ENTREPRENEURIAL TRAINING
The aim of the event is to participate in entrepreneurial training and to reach out to and communicate with young people in the area. Siikajoki boasts jobs, lots of companies, and training for vacancies.
WISDOM BEGINS WITH COLLABORATION
Entrepreneurs in Siikajoki wish to collaborate with the municipality to make operators who work with young people realise that there are jobs and entrepreneurial opportunities in the area. Collaboration helps us to achieve our aim! Ruukki Business Park is heavily involved and wants its operations to promote entrepreneurial training in Siikajoki.
